New Post Series: More than Couture
Here at Consignit Couture, we pride ourselves on finding new ways to bring couture to the budgeting fashionista. We are proud to announce our new blog series entitled, More than Couture. Each week, our very own Miss Social will don the latest in consigned couture fashion, directly from our Danville, California store. She will also be pairing our designer duds with items you most likely already have in your own closet.

Couture at Cannes
High fashion was everywhere this weekend at the Cannes Film Festival. The dresses were tailored perfectly and hair and makeup were flawless as celebrities stepped onto the red carpet. Here are some of our favorite ensembles of the evening:

TONIGHT: Wine & Chocolate Stroll 2011
Join us tonight for the Wine and Chocolate Stroll from 5-9pm! Here’s all the info you’ll need, direct from the Discover Danville Association:
Wine & Chocolate Stroll 2011 • Thursday, May 12th • 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Enjoy a fun-filled evening of wine tasting, decadent chocolates and shopping during Danville’s Spring Wine & Chocolate Stroll. Select businesses will stay open late to host some of our area’s finest wines, which will accompanied by gourmet chocolate samples, compliments of Danville Chocolates.
Stroll throughout downtown Danville and enjoy live music and entertainment throughout the evening. Jazz band, The Lost Cats, will be performing at the corner of Hartz & Prospect and Steve Fox of Bay Area Broadcast DJ’s will play hits to bring music to your ears at Danville Chocolates.
Be sure to stop in at your favorite stores to see their latest spring offerings.
Tickets are $25 each and can be redeemed for wine glasses at the corner of Hartz & Prospect Avenues from 5:30-7:00pm the night of the event. Any remaining wine glasses will be available for sale from 5:30-7:30pm.
This event has sold out in past years, so be sure to reserve your glass early. Please note: all alcohol must be consumed inside designated stores or approved patio areas.
